Upcoming ACTA Twitter Event by Handal & Morofsky and Waterfront Solictors

Our UK-based colleagues, Waterfront Solicitors LLP, have published Part 1 of a joint blog article by our two firms discussing the EU and US perspectives with regard to the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA). Part 1 topic issues include:

1. Provisions to order infringers to provide information on the goods it “controls” and damages as a result of an infringement.

and

2. Border officials to be able to act against suspect goods on their own initiative or upon request from a rights holder.
